How to help

You can help the campaign in a variety of ways - most of them require just half a day or a full day of your time. Contact the team today to see how you can get involved!

The biggest area of need: Volunteers to assist at polling booths on polling day - Saturday 11 March. We'll make sure you're adequately refreshed on the day.

We need YOU!

In an election campaign, there are so many things that need to be done to ensure success.

  • Getting the message out
  • Organising functions
  • Preparing for polling day
  • Polling day itself

The role of people in the campaign cannot be overestimated. Together, a team with many and diverse ideas and resources can easily do better than one. Even the smallest bits help - for instance, loaning us an Esky for the day, storing a box of papers in your garage or helping to make signs, or linking our website to your blog or community, through to handing out how-to-votes on polling day, or delivering pamphlets to a suburb. Many other ideas are being considered.

What do you get out of this?

  • The unique opportunity to participate in Australian democracy.

  • An opportunity to do something productive about the Labor-Liberal hegemony.

  • For young people especially - the chance to develop and practice organisational and people skills in a real setting outside a workplace.

  • For those helping on polling day - a great social opportunity!

So contact us today!

  • Email Andrew directly with a telephone number and a time you can be reached.

Let's show them what we can do.
