"Since the Victoria Park campaign, I has been approached by many people from around the Perth metropolitan area, interstate and even overseas, urging me to continue my campaign to put people before politics.

"Independent politics is alive and well in Australia. Just the week after Victoria Park, South Australian Independent Nick Xenophon achieved a fantastic result of 21.5% in the Upper House in that state, coming only just short of the Liberal Party's vote share. There is an increasing number of Australians who recognise that the major parties do not have the answers.

"The new site will strongly advocate policies which benefits Australians, not corporations and the major parties, and will be launched by the end of this week. Thank you to everyone who has written to me, contributed ideas and supported me."
